Second Tallest Office Building in Miami - 830 Brickell - Now Going Vertical

After a foundation pour at the end of March, the soon to be second tallest office building in Miami, 830 Brickell, is now starting to go vertical.

The OKO Group and Cain International developed building will reach 734 feet.

One Cocowalk is scheduled to open Summer 2020 as the final shape of the new 5 story Class A office building stands out on the streets of Coconut Grove.

Just over a year ago, construction reached the 3rd floor as the building started going vertical December 2018. Demolition on the old Cocowalk began May 2018 before being completed demolished September 2018.

Two Cranes Installed At 830 Brickell As Foundation Pour To Start Soon

Construction is well underway as two cranes have been installed at the 57 story 830 Brickell site.

The foundation pour is expected to start soon before going vertical and reaching a final height of 734 feet. Initial work on the site started in March 2019.

830 Brickell is being developed by OKO Group and Cain International. The office tower, with 57 floors of uninterrupted glass was designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture. The building will have an 8 story parking garage wrapped in a kinetic wall and a lobby designed by Italian design firm Iosa Ghini Associati.

830 Brickell will have a sky lobby on the 30th floor with a fitness/wellness center, conference rooms and cafe. On the 54th floor there will be a rooftop restaurant and bar.

830 Brickell Office Tower Going Vertical

The 724 foot office tower 830 Brickell is starting to go vertical, according to The Miami Herald.

830 Brickell is being developed by OKO Group and Cain International and will be the second tallest office tower in Miami after the Southeast Financial Center when it is completed in 2021.

Demolition began at the site two years ago in January 2018 with foundation work beginning in March 2019.

Coconut Grove Office Buildings Sold For $47M

3225 Aviation Avenue in Coconut Grove

Two offices in Coconut Grove, located at 3225 Aviation Avenue and 3250 Mary Street have been sold for $47 million, according to The Real Deal.

The buildings were purchased by Madison Marquette and sold by Allegra Holding, who purchased the properties in 2015 for $42 million.

Construction is moving quickly at the 5 story One Cocowalk as the office building and surrounding space is taking shape.

The previous building and rotunda at Cocowalk was completed demolished in September 2018 and vertical construction was underway almost a year ago in December 2018.

Construction is expected to be completed Spring 2020.

Downtown Miami Museum Tower Sold For $65M

Bridge Investment Group has purchased Museum Tower at 150 West Flagler Street in Downtown Miami for $64.5 million, according to The Real Deal.

Gaedeke Group was the seller of the Class A office building with 259,666 square feet, which purchased the building in 1995 for $27.6 million.

Bridge Investment Group will put $4.5 million in renovations to the building including the lobby and exterior.
